Seeking to hire a Sales Rep for a direct hire opportunity. Our client is a Contract Manufacturer and Packager of a wide variety of consumer, industrial, private label, and institutional products. Will be responsible for partnering with our national retailer accounts to grow their Store Brand/Private Label household essential business along with managing existing customer accounts. This role will also work on the development of potential new contract manufacturing opportunities. The position will facilitate internal and external communication and support both contract manufacturing and private label sales strategies and tactics. With the objective of increased retention and growth of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales and Margin: Achieve/exceed annual case, revenue, and profit goals
- Price Management: Responsible for executing all Price Management activities at assigned accounts. Negotiates item pricing to achieve established price and margin objectives. Collaborates with Pricing Department and Marketing to understand and incorporate market and competitive intelligence into all price negotiations
- Strategic Account Relationship: Successfully enhances business relationships with a focus on the Buyers yet inclusive of all levels, up to the Director, and across all necessary complementary departments in the categories for which they are responsible. Leverage relationships to maximize value as a strategic partner and leverage relationships to manage or increase profitability
- Internal Project Management: Is the Customer’s primary advocate inside Korex. Directs initiatives with internal departments to ensure new products, promotions, and other account initiatives are developed and shipped on time. Works with Customer Service and Customer Replenishment teams to develop and execute service strategies to maximize DC and store in-stocks. Also responsible for forecasting customer requirements and communicating these needs internally

- 5 years of sales experience required

- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent judgment, follow-up, attention to detail, and personal accountability.
- Working knowledge of basic computer software and ability to communicate by email, telephone, and in person.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Customer accounts by being the passionate and flexible first point of contact.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, including oral and written communication.
- Must work well under tight timelines and be able to manage hundreds of different SKUs across multiple categories.
