Lab Sample Coordinator

Seeking a Lab Sample Coordinator for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Rosemont

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will work in the Analytical lab coordinating the testing and administration of water samples
• Operate laboratory equipment in support of testing
• Create and send confirmation letter for receipt of sample
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of water samples
• Report testing results in laboratory notebooks and prepare reports as necessary
• Conduct batch set-ups for multiple samples
• Assist with testing of coli form and E. coli samples
• Conduct sample aliquoting

• High School Diploma is required, some college degree preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Access is a plus
• Spanish speaking is a plus
• 2-3 years experience in an office or laboratory setting
• Some Lab experience preferred
