Seeking a Manufacture Technician Filling Tech for a contract-to-hire opportunity located in Cranston, Rhode Island. Our client is a renowned manufacturer specializing in premium epoxy solutions for optic and microelectronic assembly across aerospace and defense, automotive, electronics, and various other industries. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders using the PPG program and following provided fill tickets. Your main responsibilities will include efficiently managing inventory and initiating raw material requisitions through Dynamics Great Plains. You will play a vital role in daily operations by prioritizing orders, executing tasks such as order filling, equipment maintenance, and material handling. A collaborative approach is essential as you will be working closely with fellow technicians to ensure seamless workflow and contribute to day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have experience including but not limited to Syringe consumables, dispensers, scales, centrifuges, sealers, and labelers.
Essential duties and responsibilities:

- Operate Great Plains: Gather inventory information
- Fill out Requisitions for raw materials and non-inventory items
- Close Mix and fill tickets/orders
- Add instructions to the Fill ticket and notify Supervisor if changes are needed
- Quality in-process inspection of materials
- Follow proper safety rules and PPE requirements
- Follow ISO Procedure: OP9 OP13
- Maintain Equipment in production: Scales and Mixers
- Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and absence of contamination
- Oversee Inventory Cycle count
- Weigh materials
- Heat Materials
- Replenish containers
- Operate BiPak/QuickPouch equipment as well as printing labels needed to complete orders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Understanding of how to find and read an SDS
- Experience in laboratory production conditions and clean room a plus
- Working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Working knowledge of packaging equipment a plus
- Working with mixing and milling equipment a plus
- Working knowledge of batch manufacturing a plus
- Knowledge of MRP & ERP systems a plus
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times
