Seeking a Marketing Director for a Direct Hire opportunity in Malvern, PA. This role is responsible for strategic marketing and product line management. A key member of the management team, this position leads all marketing efforts and projects to drive profitable growth of the business.
- Strategic marketing:
- Identify, develop, plan, and execute growth in existing and adjacent markets
- Develop and support pipelines for strategic development (M&A)
- Continually assess and understand competitive landscape
- Lead and manage new product portfolio
- Lead and manage optimization of asset management
- Product marketing:
- Lead and manage product pricing
- Work across other functions (sales, tech service, R&D, ops, supply chain, finance) to support existing product line marketing including the Integrated Business Management process
- Product sku rationalization management
- Develop and drive “Go-to-market” strategy for new and existing products
- Support customer supply agreement management
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement the commercial strategies for the product portfolio, including product positioning, business plan development and portfolio optimization
- Manage product pricing and pricing process to maximize margins, i.e. pricing strategy, cost analysis and budget planning
- Support sales and business development managers with product pricing, communication of value proposition, market intelligence, customer segmentation, contract negotiations and forecasting
- Work closely with operations, supply chain and quality to ensure supply reliability and product compliance to specifications and regulations
- Implement the marketing strategy to promote products, services and brands to generate new business leads and opportunities
- Lead marketing initiatives and analyze target markets potential, trends and unmet needs in support of business growth strategy and investment plans
- Manage marketing campaigns and activities including product promotion and literature, branding, content development, trade shows as well as customer events and innovation seminars in collaboration with R&D, sales and business development managers

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum ten years in marketing, sales, or comparable business management experience environment
- Preferred experience in chemical or related manufacturing industry
- Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives
EDUCATION:
- Minimum BS degree from an accredited institution; in business or technical field
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent preferred
