Seeking to hire a Partnerships Director for an exciting opportunity in Chicago, IL.
Our client is the developer of an award-winning platform for employee benefits, reward and recognition, and internal communications. They have won over 50 awards for delivering consumer-grade employee experiences to global organizations including AstraZeneca, Bank of America, BT, Centrica, Liberty Global, Salesforce, and Snowflake.
In continuing with their continued growth, they recently started looking for a self-motivated and analytical Partnerships Director. In this high-visibility role, this person will be working with our sales and marketing teams to secure, build and manage strategic partnerships. In addition to building relationships, you will have the ability to manage the full partnership lifecycle across prospecting, contracting, and developing growth strategies.

You will be a founding member of their new USA team and as such we are looking for someone who goes above and beyond each day and has a pioneering, can-do attitude to help with expansion into a new region. You’ll need to have a problem-solving mindset and not be afraid to ask questions and learn as you go.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Actively seek out new strategic partners
- Generate new business sales opportunities via our partners
- Effectively pitch our product and its benefits to partners via live demos and presentations, in conjunction with our Global Sales Team
- Present the unique benefits our solutions and services bring to the market
- Collaboratively work with Sales, Product Engineering, Marketing, and Legal to deliver the best solution based on the partner and company needs
- Create marketing collateral and presentations to be used by the partnership team for pitches to both prospective financial institutions and marketing partners
- Manage strategic relationships, having a diplomatic approach to negotiation, and strong project management skills
- Maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in both the enterprise employee benefits and well-being markets
- Support the Sales Team in driving partner-generated opportunities throughout the Sales Cycle
To be successful in this role you will need
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role with B2B SaaS, or Employee Benefits Technology
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbally, and with PowerPoint
- Experience with Financial and Data Modelling
- Key interpersonal traits: motivation, creativity, adaptability, unquestionable ethics & integrity, and a willingness to take calculated risks
