Seeking a Quality/Micro Technician for a Contract (with long term potential) Opportunity in Hayward, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Must have the ability to operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot all laboratory equipment
- Participate in TPM Q Pillar process
- Responsible for all maintenance of the anaerobic wastewater treatment system and various other verification and administrative tasks
- Ownership of micro program (submission of samples, all plating Monday mornings, etc.)
- Prepare and maintain Food Safety Training material and documentation across the site (i.e. GMPs, Bottled Water, Chilled Sanitary Transportation)
- Ownership of the Hold Process (documentation, product tagging, counting, releasing).
- Maintenance and Calibration of lab equipment like Densitometer, Refractometer, HPLC, Titrators, Thermometers, pressure gauge etc.
- Support audit preparation including document verification, internal audits, and GMP audits
- General administrative support work such as running reports, copying, purchasing, filing, etc.
- Support wastewater coordinator to accommodate business needs
- Support Quality technician functions to accommodate training or business needs
