Seeking an Financial Modelling Analyst for our client in Chicago, IL. The Financial Modelling Analyst position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding, yet supportive, team-oriented environment. Based in Chicago, Illinois, the Financial Modelling Analyst will serve as a key member of our client’s Global Business Enablement team, with the primary role of supporting our client’s proprietary valuation model. The Financial Modelling Analyst will gain a deep understanding of our client’s Valuations and Opinions business.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain high performance and scalable Anaplan model and related infrastructure by leading solution definition, capturing requirements, new model building
- Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models
- Work with the banking team to on-boarding new clients to the Anaplan platform
- Participate in data integration and migration solutions
- Modify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or incorporate new functionality and define the next generation of model integration
- Develop and maintain model documentation
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert provide technical support for global Anaplan users and manage product support; maintain the global security model and audit support
- Contribute to and maintain the support knowledgebase for Anaplan's platform as required by our client’s business development lifecycle
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Passion for business analytics and modeling
- 3-5 years of overall relevant technical experience (or related consulting experience), required
- 1-2 years of Anaplan model-building experience preferred
- Anaplan Level 1, 2, and 3 Model Building, Solutions Architect, Master Anaplanner, and Anaplan Way certifications a plus
- Prior experience in corporate finance and valuations, strongly preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills and strong Excel analytical capability (Pivot tables, macros)
- Understanding of data architecture and integration across platforms
- Experience in developing and troubleshooting models/solutions
- Ability to periodically work extended hours (in the office or remotely) as required to support the business in meeting deadlines
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, which specifically includes U.S. Citizens or permanent residents with a Green Card
