Seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a direct hire opportunity with our client, a global graphite manufacturer, located in Ozark, Arkansas. This hands-on position will be responsible for the development, integration, and support of the technology solutions focused on Manufacturing Operations and Shop Floor systems. Will lead and manage the daily activities and project deliverables of team resources to ensure the requirements of the business are met. Will function as a liaison, facilitator, and advocate for the functional business areas and technical teams, and be accountable for the functional design and configuration, technical development and deployment, and ongoing support and maintenance of the digital solutions.
The successful candidate will apply a strong combination of knowledge and experience, business analytics, and project management capabilities to assist in the technical development and documentation of manufacturing systems. Establishes strong relationships with all business partners, and effectively communicates on the progress, opportunities, and results to leadership.
Key Accountabilities
- Support existing manufacturing and shop floor solutions by engaging at all levels to identify and resolve issues and to document and create opportunities for continuous improvements
- Work as a liaison between the business user community and technical development teams in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Translate business requirements into system designs and detailed functional specifications
- Work with business leads and technical teams to define data and reporting requirements and to develop and deploy related dashboards and reporting solutions
- Work with the business leads and user community to drive ongoing data quality through proper maintenance of master data and timely and accurate processing of transactions
- Create project plans, track, and communicate project status, and escalate any key risks to business clients, technology management, and leadership
- Guide and assist business and technical resources in the development and testing phases to ensure that user stories and test cases are accurate, quickly confirm the validity of solutions, and identify potential issues
- Train and support key business users and the end user community on the Operations, Quality, Plant Maintenance, Technical Services, and other teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business or 3-5 years of experience working in technical teams, systems, and/or business analyst role
- Three (3) years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting digital solutions in manufacturing operations, shop floor execution, plant maintenance, and enterprise resource management systems
- 2-3 years of experience in ERP, MES, CMMS, and integrated business solutions
- 2-3 years of experience with Power BI data analytics and data visualization tools
- Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and supporting digital solutions in manufacturing operations, shop floor execution, plant maintenance, and enterprise resource management systems.
- Hands-on knowledge and experience in ERP, MES, CMMS, and integrated business solutions.
- Hands-on experience in enterprise data solutions (Microsoft Azure and SQL)
- Hands-on experience with data analytics and data visualization tools (PowerBI)
- Working knowledge of programming and integration tools and methodologies (Data Factory, Python, etc.)
- Working knowledge of ETL and web-based integration services (APIs, IoT, data containers, etc.)
- Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies (Industrial IoT, Digital Twins, Machine Learning, AI)
